WINTER EXFOLIATION

The winter chill is definitely in the air and we are starting to experience the effects of winter skin. It is important to start a healthy exfoliation skincare regime during this season.

 

During the winter months the skin experiences dehydration from the cold winter air and from the dry heat inside.

The skin cells dehydrate and die off faster in the winter months. Exfoliating off those old dead skin cells keeps the skin looking and feeling healthier.

 

Exfoliate twice a week using a gentle sugar or honey scrub. If you notice your skin starts to become irritated then you may want to decrease to one time a week and try a different scrub. Finish with a hydrating lotion or moisturizer to maintain healthy glowing skin all season.
