A NIGHT OF ELEGANCE AND GLAMOUR
THE STUNNING LOOKS FROM THE FULL FIGURED INDUSTRY AWARDS
The recent Full Figured Industry Awards that took place on November 4, 2023 at The Jamaica Performing Arts Center was nothing short of a fashion extravaganza, where attendees truly understood the assignment when they were instructed to "dress to impress." The red carpet was ablaze with a dazzling display of confidence, style, and unapologetic glamour. From flowing gowns to tailored suits, the fashion choices showcased not only the incredible diversity within the full-figured community but also the undeniable power of self-expression through clothing.
Glamorous Gowns that Stole the Spotlight:
The gala attendees brought their A-game, and the red carpet was a runway of breathtaking gowns that left everyone in awe. From classic silhouettes to avant-garde designs, these full-figured individuals embraced their curves with confidence and style. Sequins, lace, and bold colors were among the standout features, proving that fashion knows no size limits.
One particularly memorable moment was when Tazah Richardson graced the red carpet in a show-stopping, blue gown that accentuated every curve. With the matching blue sheer gloves and the beautifully placed flower on her left shoulder, Tazah exuded elegance, and she effortlessly commanded attention with her high split and radiant smile.
Dapper Suits and Sharp Style:
The gentlemen at the gala also turned heads with their impeccable style and well-tailored suits. From classic black-tie ensembles to bold patterns and colors, these big and tall men proved that confidence is the best accessory. The red carpet saw a refreshing departure from traditional norms, as attendees embraced individuality in their fashion choices.
Marco Mays and Desmond Scott caught everyone's eye with their tailored suits that not only showcased their dapper personalities, but also challenged stereotypes in the fashion industry.

Empowering Fashion Statements:
Beyond the glitz and glamour, the Full Figured Industry Awards became a platform for empowering fashion statements. Attendees used their outfits to send messages of self-love, body positivity, and inclusivity. Well coordinated Dynamic Duos:
We also witnessed some dynamic duos making statements as they showed up red carpet ready. These couples effortlessly harmonized their looks, creating a visual spectacle that celebrated both individuality and togetherness.
A notable example of a power couple that stole the spotlight was Ebony Martin and her husband. The duo showed up ready to make a statement. Ebony’s gown was bold and beautiful while complimenting her husband’s well-tailored suit. Together they were able to capture the essence of their individual styles while creating a cohesive look as a pair.
We also have to give it to André Ramone and his guest. The two of them look stunning together. André stepped on the red carpet dressed in a grey and white suit, looking like he stepped right off the cover of GQ magazine. And his guest looked absolutely beautiful in a black gown paired with a silver purse that harmonized perfectly will with Andre’s suit. Well played!
