ROCKLAND FASHION WEEK DELIVERS STYLE, INCLUSIVITY, AND STAR POWER
On November 9, 2024, Rockland Fashion Week returned with electrifying energy to the Palisades Mall, transforming it into a fashion haven for the night. Produced by the talented designer Hope Wade, this year’s show celebrated an impressive spectrum of styles, inclusive representation, and an unforgettable performance, making it an unmissable event for fashion lovers and trendsetters alike. From contemporary daywear to dramatic couture, this year’s runway had it all, cementing Rockland Fashion Week’s status as a premier fashion spectacle.
The lineup of featured designers and boutiques showcased a stunning variety, spotlighting both established and emerging talent. Among the designers were Be Merry Designs, Honor & Blume, Sew Nyce Designs, J. Love, Kurvacious Boutique, Lady Black Boutique, Highly Humble, Time 2 Clothes, Riddim Driven, and La Painture. Closing the show in signature style was Hope Wade herself, whose designs have graced the runways of London, the Caribbean, and New York Fashion Week. Known for her creativity and flair, Wade once again brought her artistic vision to life with her breathtaking final showcase, leaving the audience in awe.
Rockland Fashion Week embraced inclusivity, with models of all sizes, ages, and genders strutting down the runway. It was inspiring to see the diversity represented on stage, proving that fashion is for everyone. A standout moment came when legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame icon Darlene Love joined the runway as a guest model. Her presence added star power and a sense of legacy to the show, reinforcing the blend of artistry and influence that defines Rockland Fashion Week.
The event also featured an exhilarating performance by celebrity singer Marcia RaMed, a VP Records artist, whose voice and energy kept the crowd captivated. Her performance infused the evening with an extra layer of glamour and excitement, making it more than just a fashion show—it was an experience.
The designs displayed throughout the night ranged from chic daywear to edgy urban styles, sophisticated evening attire, luxurious couture, accessories, and even fur coats. The show was packed with sold-out seats and onlookers lined up along all four levels of the mall to catch a glimpse of the runway. The energy and buzz were palpable as models showcased the latest looks, embodying the beauty of individuality and the power of self-expression.
Of course, Queen Size Magazine was there to capture every moment, and we’re excited to share some of our favorite looks from the runway. From classic silhouettes to bold patterns, intricate detailing to daring textures, Rockland Fashion Week’s Fifth Annual event set new standards in fashion inclusivity and style.
If you missed this year’s event, stay tuned for next year—Hope Wade and her team only continue to raise the bar. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for Rockland Fashion Week 2025!
