IT IS ALL ABOUT THE GROOM
Awe, it's wedding day! Spring is in the air and many couples are screaming “I Dos!” The day that every Bride looks for their day to be a magical day of bliss, beauty, and love!
But, what about the Groom! Screams no one! The Groom is as important as his bride! The Groom is an equal part of a wedding day, and too often, they seem to leave the man of the day out of the equation. Majority of the wedding industry pushes Grooms to become that figurine on the top of the wedding cake, almost like a stand necessary for the Bride’s big day. There are two people getting married, and this handsome, possibly a little nervous, super excited Groom is one of them! They deserve the same type of treatment as the Bride, especially in photos.
I have researched five “must dos” for Grooms to do before their BIG DAY!
1. Pick a suit that suits the wedding style. The most important thing for a couple to consider when planning their formal-wear attire is the style and feel of the wedding. Be in sync “fashionable”. A desire suit to think of is a traditional, more formal event, a classic tuxedo with a notch, shawl, or peak lapel is ideal. Slim-fit silhouettes are more popular. For a less traditional option, shades of gray are hugely popular. Destination or beach weddings call for a pure white, lighter gray, tan, or even jacketless tuxedo.
2. Accessorize! Put the finishing touches on your look with a perfectly folded pocket square or fun socks for an extra pop of color. When accessorizing, it can add a touch of “wow” to your look!
3. Work on your vows. Transcribe all "for vows" notes on your iPhone, and take a stab at writing something eloquent. Once you are done, practice, practice, practice! The vows are the most important words that your family and friends get to hear to your sweet bride, so make it memorable!
4. Stay on top of the rehearsal dinner. Check in with the officiant and make sure both sets of parents and all wedding-party members know when and where to show up. Taking the whole party off your Bride’s plate is a huge gesture and will greatly reduce her stress and yours.
5. Seduce her! Sex kills stress and it'll take the edge off the wedding night in case the reception goes all night. This will make your days happier…believe me!
