Falling Fast

It seems like just yesterday, we were in our favorite two-piece outside, but just as the year has flown by, fall came upon us fast!! As we leave summer behind, it's time to truly embrace layers, blazers, rich textures, and beautiful prints as we gear up to fuel our fall wardrobes.

Fall fashion trends are the ones that true lovers of fashion really get excited about, and can anyone blame us? With a definite back-to-school/work feel, this time of year gives us all a chance for a fresh fashion start. We've spent so much time inside the last few years, those boots that were made for walking, have very little mileage up to this point. With people having more of an urge to get out and live life to its fullest, we want to pull some style inspo to get things going. We are literally seeing all ends of the spectrum this season for trends, from full on head-to-toe sequins and leather, to those cozy two-piece sets and statement blazers, that can do no wrong. So, whether you're a maximalist or minimalist in fashion, there is something in it for you.

The 90's are back heavy in these fashion streets and I couldn't be happier, because it was literally the best decade for everything!!! It's the looser fitting jeans, slogan tees, and chic blazers for me!!! That's right, a simple bottom paired with layers, is a fall fashion trend that will never die. Track suits, track suits, track suits!!!! Luxe tops and bottoms with side stripes are a hit!!! Don't be afraid to step away from your typical cotton blends and give silk or another texture a try. Joggers are our friend. Play around with the accessories like a heel or fly sneaker to set the tone for the occasion. Skirts of all textures, patterns, and lengths, are now welcomed, paired with your favorite tights or high socks, we are ready for the up and down temps that fall can bring. We want layers, and we want them now!! The temperature is trying to make up its mind during this season, so the ability to remove layers is a must. It may not be quite the time to pull out the coats, so stock up on flannels, cardigans, camisoles, and sweatshirts, and get creative. The relaxed look of an oversized, baggy, yet well thought out look is a complete vibe. Don't forget about the infamous sweater dresses of all lengths, that can be worn for several months during this time of year. Be flexible with your textures and don't shy away from that thigh-high boot that absolutely brings this look alive.

Fall is a crowd favorite when it comes to favorite seasons, and the wide range for fashion freedom has a lot to do with it. It's nothing like feeling free to dress and express at the same time without as many restrictions we endure the rest of the year. Fall coming fast this year makes us all happy. Have fun falling!!!
